Product Description
Guardian of Life: Certified Fire Rated Safety Glass
Fire rated glass is not just a building material; it is a safety device. Our range of Fire Resistant Glazing is engineered to compartmentalize fire and smoke, providing a safe escape route for occupants. We offer solutions ranging from 30 minutes to 180 minutes of protection, fully tested to international standards (BS / EN / UL).
We Offer Two Main Types:
Monolithic Fire Glass (Class E - Integrity Only):
A single pane of chemically toughened glass (Cesium-Potassium) or High Borosilicate glass.
Function: Stops flames and smoke but does not block heat radiation.
Use: External windows, smoke barriers.
Composite Fire Glass (Class EI - Integrity + Insulation):
Multi-layer glass with intumescent interlayers (fireproof gel).
Function: Stops flames, smoke, AND heat transfer. The gel turns into an opaque foam shield during a fire, keeping the non-fire side cool.
Use: Fire doors, escape corridors, server rooms (where heat protection is vital).

Comment & FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between E and EI class?
A: Class E stops flames but lets heat pass through (you can feel the heat). Class EI stops flames AND blocks heat (you can touch the glass). EI is required for escape routes.
Q2: Can I cut fire glass on site?
A: No. All fire rated glass is tempered or special composite. It must be ordered to exact size. Cutting it will cause it to shatter or leak gel.
Q3: Does the glass turn cloudy?
A: Composite fire glass may turn cloudy if exposed to strong UV or high heat over many years without proper UV filters. For exterior use, please specify so we can add a UV-blocking PVB layer.

Customize Your Fire Protection:
We don't just supply standard sheets; we offer functional upgrades to meet complex building codes:
Fire Rated IGU (Double Glazing): Combine fire glass with Low-E Glass into an Insulated Unit. This is essential for Exterior Fire Windows to meet both fire safety and energy-saving (U-Value) requirements.
Ultra Clear (Low Iron): Highly Recommended for EI120! Since composite fire glass consists of multiple layers, standard glass can look very green. We use Low Iron glass to ensure high transparency and true color transmission.
Frosted / Sandblasted: For privacy in conference rooms or corridors while maintaining fire safety standards.
Fire + Security: We can laminate fire glass with polycarbonate to create Bulletproof Fire Glass for banks and prisons.
