Project Name: Gaomi Jinfulong Hotel and Department Store Project
Location: Core Business District, Gaomi City, Shandong Province
Facade Scale: 16,000 Square Meters
Core Configuration: 6mm Low-E (Nanbo) + 12a + 6mm Double-Tempered Insulated Glass Unit (IGU)
As a comprehensive urban complex integrating a high-end star hotel and a large-scale department store/supermarket, this project faced highly complex environmental and operational demands:
The "Tranquility Challenge" for the Hotel: Located in a bustling downtown area, the core issue was achieving five-star acoustic noise reduction while maintaining a high-transparency facade.
The "Operational Pain Point" for Retail: Large-scale glass curtains often lead to massive HVAC electricity expenses in summer. Furthermore, UV rays can accelerate the fading and aging of premium merchandise on display.
The "Safety Redline" for Public Space: With high pedestrian density in the supermarket and department store, there were rigorous standards for the glass's anti-spontaneous breakage and wind load resistance capabilities.
We selected high-performance Low-E raw glass from Nanbo Group (CSG) and achieved a performance leap through precision processing:
Ultimate Heat Insulation (Low-E Technology): The Nanbo high-performance coating filters out the majority of infrared heat radiation, keeping the heat outside.
Double-Tempered Barrier (Safety Process): Both inner and outer glass panes underwent rigorous tempering, ensuring they remain as solid as a mountain against typhoon-level wind pressure or external impacts, thus protecting pedestrians.
Superior Soundproofing (Insulated Structure): The 12mm air spacer, treated with specialized processes, significantly attenuates urban traffic noise, ensuring a quiet interior for hotel guests.
Direct Cost Reduction: The project is estimated to save the owner 18% - 22% in annual air conditioning operating costs.
Visual Premium: The pure and sophisticated architectural facade enhances the overall valuation of the property and attracts more international tenants.
Merchandise Protection: By effectively filtering UV rays, the facade significantly extends the shelf-life and visual appeal of premium apparel, cosmetics, and electronics.
